Zinook Magazine

Zinook Magazine was a self initiated project to create a sort of fanzine / book of interestingness.

The zine was created using a variety of methods. The cover was designed using a computer and screen printed onto sugar paper. The layouts throughout the zine were mostly hand made by cutting and sticking onto a sheet, and finally photocopied onto the sugar paper.

I really like the finished effect the rough paper and photocopier give to the zine.

Zinook is a heavily visual magazine featuring articles by myself and two journalist friends, Natalie Hailes and Helen Jack. I also collaborated with a photography group called 'How do you see red?' who produced a set of everyday images by distributing cameras to people who don't regard themselves as 'photographers'.

The magazine covers articles on illustration, photography, film and music.
